The SDE Archive
|
The purpose of this project is to develop a library (the SDE library)
of reusable courseware components covering a wide variety of topics in
the fields of Software Engineering and Software Development in general.
This courseware is divided into the following:
In addition, each topic may be supplemented by video clips, documents or papers (prepared using Microsoft Word), sample program files, software development tools, documentation development tools, and other material. The SDE Courseware Project is run by an Editorial Board, all members of which have had a significant amount of experience in developing and distributing courseware in electronic form. See the SDE FAQ for more details on the project and its motivation. The SDE Library (and CDROM) is designed to be used by educators, students, software engineers, and software developers in general. See the SDE FAQ for a list of applications for the SDE Library. People interested in becoming SDE Library authors are encouraged to read the SDE FAQ on this CDROM. Information on how to become an SDE Author, the incentives offered to SDE Authors, and an Author Kit are also included. We wish to express our thanks to the SDE Courseware Project sponsors: Microsoft Corporation, Walnut Creek CDROM Washington University in Saint Louis. This CDROM can be browsed using Internet Explorer, Netscape, or any other Web browser. Start with the file index.htm. The SDE CDROM contains freeware (suitable for unlimited distribution). Portions of this freeware are copyrighted Ada Core Technologies and New York University, Auburn University, Microsoft Corporation, and the United States Air Force Academy. |
