Only a couple of programs can do this and with limited success. The Copyist
from Dr. T's will take a MIDI file and transcribe it. Tiger Cub from Dr. T's
will transcribe its own sequencer info - but you can't edit it - it's only a
display.

There's an interesting new program by a friend of mine RiffGrabber - it's a
front end to Deluxe Music Construction Set 2.0 by way of the AREXX port. You
establish a certain number of measures and it will transcribe (very
effectively) you performance and place it into DMCS.

The new Music-X is supposed to have a score display - but so far it's
vaporware and Bars and Pipes Pro has a limited score display to its sequencer
output.

If you really want good music output you should get The Copyist from Dr. T's.
It's on sale from them now for $79.95 - I bought it for $229.00. Comes with
the Sonata music font. I produced my string quartet score - all 51 pages -
using this system. Very professional looking!

Hi all,
I'm new to the list. Perhaps someone tell me the name of a program that
make a score from a keyboard with MIDI interface, for Amiga with DOS 2.05 or
DOS 1.3.

Thanks

I agree on Dr. T's Copyist. If you're not already using a sequencer, you
might want to get Copyist w/Quickscore Deluxe, but if you have a sequencer
already, you can just import the MIDI files.
