Generally, there is no migration path from a beta release candidate to or from any other version. Any means of scripted upgrade or installation is not supported by RISC OS Open (though 3rd parties may offer one).

The md5 sum of the image is 4ab52a98c272fb1a5e902816e1398822 which can be checked to verify your copy's integrity.

Support for models
==================
                           System  on  chip  type:
                       BCM2835 BCM2836 BCM2837 BCM2838
Pi Zero and ZeroW     |   x   |       |       |       |
Pi 1 (original)       |       |       |       |       |
  models A, A+, B, B+ |   x   |       |       |       |
Pi 2 model B          |       |   x   |   x   |       |
Pi 3                  |       |       |       |       |
  models A+, B, B+    |       |       |   x   |       |
Compute Module 1      |   x   |       |       |       |
Compute Module        |       |       |       |       |
  models 3, 3+        |       |       |   x   |       |
Pi 4 model B          |       |       |       |   x   |

Users of the Pi Zero or ZeroW, Pi 1 model A or A+, Pi 3 model A+, and any Compute Module please note that by default RISC OS is configured with networking enabled. These models do not include a built-in Ethernet port, so if you have not attached a compatible USB-Ethernet dongle then boot up will not complete. You will need to press Escape when it says that it is contacting a DHCP server (and dismiss the following error box by clicking "Cancel" or pressing Escape again). To avoid having to go through the same thing on every boot, disable networking from within !Configure.

A shortcoming with the Pi 4 is that the four main USB sockets are not currently active. To use USB on the Pi 4 a hub should be used connected to the USB type C socket labelled 'POWER IN'.
